It is hard for me to even consolidate my favorite worship songs because I literally LOVE THEM ALL. Worship music is music for the soul, it’s a way to connect with God in many different levels. Wether you want to find an answer to something, praise Him , be in prayer, or even just uplift your spirits-worship music is there for you. If you are beginning your walk with God worship music can really help you out. It teaches you about God’s love and a lot of songs are actually written out of scripture so your are basically listening to the bible lol.

Personally, worship music is my favorite way of connecting and spending time with God. I don’t have a Kim Walker voice but I’ll sing my heart out to every song and have no shame who hears me lol So here are my favorite worship songs at the moment that just really uplifts me and my relationship with God.

The Blessing- Elevation Worship
This song is based off of scripture Numbers 6:24-26. This blessing is used in church so much! Fun fact: My in laws are pastors and they’re very old school pastors lol they come from a Presbyterian church and til this day at the end of our services we say this exact scripture to bless our congregation and I thought it was so repetitive and boring that it became meaningless to me. Then this song came along not too long ago and I was like “wait a minute, we say this every single time!” It changed my heart! Now I say this with a grateful heart and pray this to everyone’s life. This song just really speaks to my life as I am sure it will to yours.

Way Maker- Highpointe Worship
This song especially by this band is just WOW. It’s so powerful! I love how it magnifies God’s power and speaks miracles into life.

Closer To Your Heart- The Belonging Co & Kari Jobe
This is one of my all time favorites! The first time I heard it I broke down in tears because my heart longs for God so much. I am just so in love with Him and I really wish this feeling on everyone. I want to know more and more of Him and this song is exactly how I feel.

God Help Me- Plumb
I love this song because it’s a conversation to God. If you’re in a time of confusion or you need God to speak to you this song can really do it for you. Spend some time in prayer with this song and you may get your answer. I know I have. This song actually helped me make the very tough decision to leave my childhood church to serve with my in laws. Crazy beautiful how worship gives you answers.

Heave Come- Bethel Music & Jenn Johnson
I’m listening to these songs as I write this to really get my feelings out and oh em gee! I LOVE THIS SONG. It’s another praise song to really get into God’s presence and ask Him to be in your life, in your heart.

God I Look to You – Bethel Music & Francesca Battistelli
Another great worship song to ask God for help. Life is not easy we go through some very emotional times and this song can help you see the good in the bad when you really just don’t understand the why. This song is you praying to God and giving him praise even when things aren’t what you expected.

Forever- Bethel Music & Kari Jobe
I will forever love this worship song, it’s a classic! This song reminds me of God’s love and that He died on the cross for us. It talks about what happened when he died and rose again. It truly explains the emotion and power of that day.

Nobody- Casting Crowns
I don’t only like slow worship! This song is a fun and upbeat and hypes me up Lol It’s like my mantra “I’m living for the world to see nobody but Jesus” This song makes me so happy!

Heal Our Land- Kari Jobe
This song speaks so well with everything going on right now. So much hatred and fear going around that this song can bring some peace into your life. It’s a prayer for our Nation asking God to heal and restore. I love it!

Broken Vessels- Hillsong Worship
This song also sings scripture 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 and John 9:25. It’s also a modern version of the classic hymn Amazing Grace. Something about modern ways to sing scripture just makes me feel some type of way lol I love praising the Lord with this song.

Sing My love- Jesus Culture feat Kim Walker-Smith
This song is an older worship song but will forever be one of my favorites. It makes me so happy and I can totally just praise God with these words all day!

In the River- Jesus culture feat Kim Walker-Smith
Last but not least I have to share this song because it just brings so much joy! It makes me want to jump and dance. This song is about finding joy in the Lord during hard seasons and it’s perfect because it is a very upbeat song. Love it!
